Resolutions Kaput?

I couldn't help but notice today that a lot of people were doing things they traditionally resolve to quit doing at New Year's. Lotsa people smoking today. And the dessert counter in the Bookstore Cafe was wiped out of cheesecake and other yummies-but-baddies. Is it the moon? Is it because congress is back in session? Whatever it is, I hope it's just a temporary slip for most folks. It's a long time until 2008.
